(GPS) Heard there was another round of cuts before the final announcement with several people hearing through back channels that they were accepted but then getting a rejection email. Anyone else?

Had the most amazing mtg today...I was the only woman on a creative call with 5 men (I am a producer FYI). They were brainstorming campaign slogans...typically I shy away from making creative suggestions, but we were going around in circles so I said “what if it were just X”. Everyone just kinda nodded and moved on. 20 minutes later a dude makes the SAME EXACT suggestion. Everyone flips - immediately loves it. The CD says “that’s the one, mtg over”. It was so surreal I cant do anything but LOL

Why do so many people need sponsorship? Most people I speak to in tech (data) require some sort of sponsorship. Just curious why this is.

Hi fishes.. i have joined ey gds in august. On the 2nd week of joining i got allocated to a project(100% utilization) its been 3 months, the project did not kickstart.. had few meetings but no work at all. Currently an A2 in GPS (up for promotion) and I know I will be rated exceptional this year (2nd year end). I was not exceptional as an A1 but fingers crossed I will be exceptional as a C1. I got into an M7 school as a deferred admit and am aiming to enroll in school fall 2023. From what I have read, there are some who “retroactively” apply and get GSAP and go into school right away. Can someone provide a story or guidance on how they went about this?

When do you typically receive other communications about the program if you were accepted this year? Haven’t heard anything since the acceptance email.

I thought my counselor mentioned that an official communication on GSAP was going to come out yesterday. Has anyone heard anything?

Checked the GSAP website and there’s a list of approved schools under MBA but no list for those interested in a MS in data analytics (other approved programs). Does this mean we pick?

How long are the panel presentations?

Is it worth getting sponsors, declaring intent, etc if you're scared you won't meet eligibility reqs? I got straight 4s from the new RPM system this year, so an "exceptional" rating seems unlikely :/
