I was CoS for 1.5 year at a nonprofit before joining this company, and have been at my current company for 1.5 years for a total of 3 years of CoS experience. How does HR/Comp at your companies feel about disclosing salary ranges to candidates? I know pretty much all of my peers feel it would make the candidate's experience better and our jobs easier, since no one would be wasting their time. I've heard some arguments in favor of not disclosing, and there is a certain degree of logic behind some of them, but I'm wondering what those arguments at your companies, and if it's something you feel is warranted or not.

Looking for advice! Currently the only recruiter for a SaaS tech company managing about 20-25 open roles at a time, all senior level. Current pay is $65,000 base + 5% bonus. Looking to ask for a raise as I feel I am not being fairly compensated but curious to see what others in the market are making in order to state my case.

My fiancé has been an immigration attorney for 4 yrs. We live in Raleigh NC and the pay is pretty poor (currently $65k). She is barred in VA and DC.

She’s really interested in switching to a new firm. Looking for a salaried position (not commission based) of at least $75k. Would love a remote position, at least a few days a week.

Her focus is family based immigration but would consider switching to business immigration or another attorney position. Please help!

Recruiter vent - I submitted a candidate to a manager on Friday. I told the candidate it typically takes a few business days for me to get feedback. Today she texted me saying me and my company are rude for not getting back to her. She then raised her pay rate by $37/hr based on that. She also told me she could give me “free of charge” communication and developing relationships training since I’m “clearly lacking” Mercury is definitely in retrograde, y’all LOL
