They have given a verbal offer, but no offer letter as there are still doing some audit and compliance on the earlier employments. They have yet not reverted. What should be done in this scenario. I recieved a call from recruiter and she told me if you get selected and we are willing to wait for 2 months for your LWD. Will you sign an agreement stating that you will join us and not other companies?
Is it normal to ask? I dont wanna sign any such agreement which will prohibit me to look for better opportunities. How to counter her?

A recruiter called me for a position, took all my details. I have cleared 2 rounds and then HR round as well.
Later, I shared all the required documents like Salary slips etc.
Now they reach out to me and saying cannot proceed because we want immediate joiner or someone who can join within 30 days.

Hello everyone! I am interviewing at another company for a HR Generalist Contract position at Adobe and when they asked me what my pay expectations are, I asked them what their pay range and expectations were for this role. She let me know she was unable to tell me, yet still wanted me to give an answer. Do you believe that’s fair? How should I bring up pay expectations in my next round of interviews to ensure I am aware of what this position is offering so I don’t lowball or overshoot myself?

I applied for a job based on the job description and now have an interview with the Recruiter in the next couple of days. In preparation for the interview I did some research and have serious concerns about the company. E.g., most of the most recent Glassdoor reviews describe the company as a "sinking ship" with poor benefits and poor leadership.

I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. I have not yet received an offer. Is it typical for companies to ask for this documentation if they don't intend to make the candidate an offer?

Does it mean anything specifically when a company/firm reposts their position? I went on a phone screen and it went really well (so I thought) and got the interview with a AmLaw200 firm. I thought the interview went okay but then 8 days later no contact and I saw that they reposted the position. I’ve had my position for almost 8 months and I’m ready to leave but that’s another story.

What’s a fair expectation for my first raise? I’m in-house at a publicly traded co with ~2500 employees. I’ve been doing litigation with the company for almost 3 yrs and have only had a 2% cost of living raise so far. Graduated in 2014. Base comp is $127.5k in the Philly area. Fish, need your help. 5th year doing leveraged finance at a V20 in NYC. I’m good at my job but I hate the practice area. Was a direct hire. Ideally, would want to pivot to ECVC but would take PE M&A in a pinch. Have 4 years of international (non-US law) M&A and 1 year of international (US law) capital markets experience. Is it impossible to retool now? Given that markets are hot will I have to drop years (already dropped the 4 years of international experience so not keen to drop more).
