there is a huge difference between 18 and 23 though
Yeah? There definitely was for me. In attitude, goals, relationships, everything
As someone who is 36. I’ll tell you there’s not a big difference between 34 and 37. Think you’re spitting hairs here...
As a 36 year old I have had a long hard road the last month coming to terms with being a Millennial
Yep, millennials are getting old.
Pew says it’s 1981
Yeah think it’s 81 or 82 depending on who you ask
That’s how I feel about briefs with demos. If you want to reach “millennials” you probably mean the “millennial mindset,” because let’s be real some 20 somethings act like teenagers (some in their 30s, too). And if you want parents 25-34, it’s extremely shortsighted when parents can be as young as 18-24 or 35+, depending where you are in the US. Age ain’t nothing but a number.
Less than three short years until the first Millennials turn 40! Awesome 😃
You want some head-bending, check out the differences between the way US sets the generational breaks and where they peg things in Canada or Japan.
Apropos nothing serious, I was being a snoop, errr, watching a focus group in Columbus OH last year and one of the 12 hangry people in the group in the room kept calling Millennials “Millenniums.” Kind of charming.
Meh.
Yes. The “youth market” is now Gen Z, significantly different from Millennials in many ways .
A Millennial is someone who:
- Knew more than three normal friends with normal cell phones in high school (ie: no rich-boy Zach Morris brick phones).
- Was too young to vote for Nader/Bush/Gore.
- Never got to have a drink indoors at a bar in New York and see an ashtray.
There is a small window where one could be a Millennial and was old enough to vote in that election, or had turned 21 a few months before the smoking ban. That’s the borderline.
23 year olds are millennials? But they BARELY remember the rugrats.
