Gross generalization, but for the most part, do they benefits of having a HDHP/ HSA outweigh the other typically offered employment plans? (i.e HMO or POS)

Some companies, like ACN, contribute to the HSA. The contribution basically offsets my premium for the year.

I had a couple of unexpected surgeries last year and hit the $4,500 cap, but still think it’s a bargain overall. That was the first year I spent more than $500 towards my deductible.

Not sure what value a generalized answer would have unless you are an actuary pricing a health insurance product. You should do the analysis using your own personal risk variables.

After 3 years of dealing with the worst firm I've ever had the displeasure of working for, I finally landed my dream gig at a small specialty firm. The people at the new firm are all SMEs featured in and contributors to the most notable business publications in the world, less than 100 employees, better benefits, unlimimted PTO, doubled my pay and landed a senior role.

Keep looking for what you want and deserve. I'm happy to be forging a better path away from what I've had to endure.

In need of some advice… feeling very discouraged. I’m no. 2 in charge and my function and salary is that of a VP (I work for a brick and mortar ASC/physician practice, as well as a telemedicine company). However, we are a small org and don’t use titles like that. I’m trying to move forward and expand into larger healthcare organizations, however I feel I’m being rejected before my resume is even reviewed because of my job title. Any recommendations? Not willing to take a step back

Can someone explain using VA healthcare while having private insurance? I have a non service connected condition I need checked out but my private primary dr can’t see me for like 2 months.

What will I be responsible for costs? How does it work with my private insurance? My deductible which I haven’t hit yet? PwC has terrible super high deductible insurance if it matters. I’m also 90% service connected any priority group 1.

Hi Fishes,

I am currently working as an Analyst in HCL Technologies BSERV which is considered as a BPO. I received a promotion to a new job post Sr. Associate-WPC. Is this new position also a part of BPO or does it come under IT or Technical Department? Also currently there is no hike being provided even though the band has changed from 0.3 to 1.1, can I expect a hike once the yearly cycle is completed?

I'm a noob with bonds, can someone break down ibonds for me in idiot proof language?

Per what I'm reading the interest rate is 9.62% if I buy through Oct 2022. It's a 30 year investment, but I can withdraw after 5 years without 3 month penalty.

Questions:
(1) Is the interest rate fixed or variable over the term of the bond?
(2) Assuming 9.62% is annual return but definitely want to confirm 🤣
(3) Do most people actually keep it in 30 years? I'm looking at 5 years for now and re-assess
