Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. My firm’s policy requires a minimum tenure in current role before interviewing and switching to another internal role. I’m in interview processes with other firms for the role I want, but would prefer to do that role at my firm. Is there a way to negotiate with HR about this? I understand I’d have more leverage with a final external offer. But I worry by then I’d not have time to secure internal offer by the time the external offer deadline comes. How would you approach? Had several rounds of interviews back in May, all signs pointed to that they all loved my resume and personality and I made a great impression. I was told that the role was on hold due to “beaucracy” but the hiring manager from the role has kept in touch. He then reached out to me yesterday asking if I’m still interested and want to move forward..no offer letter, just gauging my interest.
