I have experience in Java Support for 5 YOE. I am not having expertise in Java development but understand the language. Recently i was able to clear an interview at CGI for the role of Java Developer. I am feeling less confidence if I will be able to survive. Should i take this chance or will I get fired if am not so expert? Please advise.
Anyone had an interview with Stern as a reapplicant? I was admitted last year but couldn’t enroll due to personal issues so wondering if the interview might be different than the first one.
I was fired by my firm in Oct for a combo of covid-related & other reasons, jumped right into volunteering for Biden campaign, then spent Dec/Jan dealing with family issues. Now trying to figure out how to address in interviews, what to do about writing samples & references. In the past I’ve only worked with recruiters when they contacted me about a particular job. Can I hire a recruiter to help me with my job search? Or a career coach? If so, how do I find the right person?
Just had a final round interviews. Had a good interview with 4 of the 5 interviews. Struggled with the 5th person and case. Anyone here been in a similar circumstance but still got the offer at the end? Always felt to get a final offer everything needs to go well with every interviewer.
Can anyone tell me about Deloitte’s DCE departmental culture? I am interviewing with them so any insight is appreciate...
Was told I’d only have one round (4 interviews), each split 50/50 on case/behavioral. This is for an Associate position and will be interviewing with AP/P/SP level. Is this typical? Since I see most people have multiple rounds.
Had referral for BCG last year, but got rejected because of the hiring freeze. And now BCG is actively hiring! Can I reapply and secure an interview? Or do I really have to wait for the one year ban to pass
Been in IB ops for about ten years now in NYC and London. A start up from silicone valley called me up (7 hours of interview) to help design a margin system. Is tech better than banking?
Follow-up/thank you email to the hiring manager after completing a final round interview and haven't heard from recruiter whether they are going with me or not: yay or nay?
I have completed my technical interview and HR discussion package everything finalized yesterday with Accenture today when I check the portal it's showing due to their is no immediate Business demand, on - hold Kind of status I could see. Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones? https://blog.shrm.org/blog/9-interesting-interview-questions-that-actually-reveal-a-lot-about-candidat
Has anybody made the switch from Big 4 consulting to MBB? What was the interview process like, and how did you prepare?
My current firm is filing for H1B extension (and LCA) but at the same time, I am also interviewing and may potentially leave soon and my h1b will need to be transferred. Would this cause any issues?
I’m in a final round interview with EY for entry level roles. Does it affect me negatively if my recruiter knows that I’ve offer from multiple other big 4 firms? I received a form to fill where It asks for any offers that I already have.

On a team of all men, all of whom have PhDs. The level of micromanaging is getting unreal especially because I've worked with this client for 3 years and know more about the project. Anyone have advice for condescending team members? Technically I am the team lead but their levels range

Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? I have 2 yrs of contracting HR exp from fortunate 500 co’s & OMW to get my SHRM-CP. Appreciate your advice in advance.

How do you roll off a project where you are close with the partner but the M and SC create a toxic work environment? The partner is very hands off, but knows about what's going on.
Is there a WFH stipend available to us? Few other firms offering this and curious if Accenture offers similar support
Taking some time off. Need some book recommendations. Some light interesting non-fiction. No self help or management books. Just interesting topics that won’t make me think about work.

Fish Parents— we’re making some budgeting models for future kids/when we can retire etc. How much per year per kid have you been spending on sports/activities? I have no idea how much to estimate for that section of our spreadsheet. I’d assume they’ll be involved in avg of 2 sports/activities ever year? Idk. Just looking for rough guidance.
