It's obvious to me that nearly everyone in this thread is under 40. If anyone were older they would understand it's not about being PC or triggers. They would remember how hard women had to fight to stop being the person to "get us some coffee, sweetheart?" at the beginning of meetings. How we had to demand not to be slapped on the ass, or assigned things like the office party instead of challenging, meaningful work. It breaks my heart to see women today who intentionally demean other women or themselves because they think it will play better with the men they are trying to impress. Like "not being sensitive/PC" is somehow a virtue, and not undermining the battle we are all still fighting. And now I hear the newest generation talking about "this girl at work" and they don't even hear themselves.
Thank you for this post. Ladies, we are women, not girls. This gentleman was noble to stand up for us here, but we cannot rely on men to stand up for us - we have to stand up for each other.
As long as you don't call me an asshole and physically assault me you can call me whatever you want
Girl here, maybe I shouldn't but I refer to men at work as guys or boys. I'd say 'this guy' or 'this boy' never 'this man' in a conversation with friends. It would be weird...
@P5 It's big MAN pants
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
The things that send people over the edge 🙄
Some women are hunnies
I think OP was triggered.
Men and women sounds super formal! Like you'd be like 'he's a funny guy' not he's a funny 'man'
I might say guys and girls. Or men and women.
Why can't we just say guys and girls? That seems very normal: boy sounds weird
Except no one says 'gals', it just doesn't sound rifht
I thought it was gurrrrlll
Lol this post has way too many comments for what is is. I am a "woman" and I find it easier to use the term "lady" or "ladies". Sometimes I think when I say "woman" or "women" I feel like others think I'm calling the subject(s) old. Anyway... moving on...
*I used to work for
*who used to call people
Sorry about the autocorrect
Couple drinks in there D3? 😜

I'm with you A2... I'm under 40, but in mid-30s. This is sad... sounds like people who would be ok with Trump's America.
Big deal ! Our director used to call us "minions". #
Shut up
