Hi All I have total 11+ years of experience in Java Backend. My current PKG is 21.74Lpa and Tata Consultancy is offering me 31 LPA. Is it good to join.. HR explained me all the salary breakup structure but there I could not find any variable component. One component I will get every quarter, other is I will get after one year which 1lac and monthly components is part of my fixed. I am bit confused as PPL say there is variable in TCS too..please help me

A friend of mine was on bench for about 8 weeks and was not let go.

No not necessarily - they hire based on need as it is, and they know you won't be on the bench for long because there are enough client projects coming in. They would've just fired if they really didn't have a need
Okay, i was just kind of worried that if my manager sees that i am not performing well he or she might release me from project or I heard about this PIP as well in which they says that if person is on PIP the Hr is just creating documentation for exit
