No not necessarily - they hire based on need as it is, and they know you won't be on the bench for long because there are enough client projects coming in. They would've just fired if they really didn't have a need

Why people are always preferred Product based over Service based. Is it because of the Job security only? Because I worked for product based company only for 5 years..and I don't think I had workload or I really have a good worklife balance. Then what would be a reason?
And if I get offer from product based company should I join even if their total people strength is less and revenue is not as much as good than service base companies from which I have an offer?

Hi All I have total 11+ years of experience in Java Backend. My current PKG is 21.74Lpa and Tata Consultancy is offering me 31 LPA. Is it good to join.. HR explained me all the salary breakup structure but there I could not find any variable component. One component I will get every quarter, other is I will get after one year which 1lac and monthly components is part of my fixed.
