My full time job (not SMU) is literally making me sick-spent time at the ER. One associate quit and another is out of full paid parental leave (must be nice, I’m not paid for doing double the work)…so I’m now expected to do the work of 3 associates. My supervisor isn’t exactly understanding, and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been searching for jobs, but it’s difficult since my background is diverse and not focused on one area of law. If I quit, how hard is it to find a new job?

Would I be able to extend my H1b after I graduate say two years later for a new employer, even if the job has completely changed - say from business consultant to a tech manager? Joined Accenture as a Cloud Engineer. In December 2022, I will be earning a package of 12. Got one certification, aiming for 2nd one. All this within a span of 12 months. These are brilliant times in tech. Keep hustling. Success will be yours.

Hi I am a Data Engineer. I work in Azure and knows only Sql, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and PySpark basic. I have Y.O.E 1.5 years & current CTC 4.5 lpa. I worked in ingestion layer. I got an opportunity from Axtria as a Senior Associate/ Lead - BIM. BIM is one of the Axtria's business vertical.

I've cleared all rounds of interviews including final HR round and salary discussion and at last HR told me that he will get back to me with next steps. It's been over a week, I did not get any response. I have called HR and he said he is checking with internal team and getback to me.

Anyone from Axtria or past employees have any idea for this kind of situation?

Should you switch to a new company at a salary you know would become low for your yoe after an year? Now there’s no way to get better TC but if you join then it would mean after an year or 2 you have to switch at any cost to get back on normal range of TC for your yoe. What would you do?
