Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?

McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company been working here one year and received pretty positive feedback. Given the expectation for people of my tenure to transition to EM in a year or so, I can’t see myself staying due to the WLB as an EM. I’m 35 and have 2 young kids. Can it even be realistically done? Would love to stay but I don’t see a balance which would keep my family happy. What options do I have from there?
I heard Accenture pays more than McKinsey

Menjangan Resort in the national park is amazing. If you can take a fast boat to Gili Meno if your traveling with your s/o
Bali is wonderful I live a few hours flight away! Skip Kuta or do a brief visit! For nice afternoon/evening beach clubs try Potato Head, the W or Ku De Ta which are all in Seminyak. Finns beach club in Uluwatu is also amazing and best done as a day trip - you can hire paddle boards, Canoes etc. Sarong, La Luciola, Mamasan, Bikini, Motel Mexicola are all great restaurants. Hanging Gardens in Ubud is also with a visit. Thebalibible.com is not a bad source for ideas a few friends of mine post in it.
Dive Manta Point
Avoid Kuta for more than a day or two, check out more remote areas and the surrounding islands.
Do an interior tour - it will take you to the rice paddies, etc...
Hop on a ferry, leave Bali and go to gili T (Bali is garbage)
I like the Seminyak area - the W there is nice although the beach isn’t much to write about. Nusa Dua for a more family friendly and beach experience.
The breakfast buffet at the St Regis is worth a trip.

Happy visit.
Canyoning!
Make sure your sunglasses and phone are safe when you visit the monkey sanctuary. Also, the monkeys don’t like it if you walk by their babies.
Also some really good deals on private villas out there, super cheap, usually with private pools
Read “snowing in Bali” on the trip out
Surfing! Amazing waves.
Diving, surfing, cycling the rice paddies and villages, hiking, white water rafting, there's tons to do. Also dirty Nuri has the best pork chops I've ever had.
Kuta is horrible - I’d skip it. We stayed at the Kupa Kupa Barong in Ubud and loved it. In Ubud we did a trek through rice paddies that was beautiful. I wish we had stayed north longer - I was bummed we couldn’t fit in the sunrise volcano hike. We stayed several days in Jimbaron. The seafood is great and the set you up right in the sand with amazing sunsets.
Surf if you’ve surfed before, the volcano hike at sunrise is amazing. The rice terraces are also a sight to see
Oberoy resort - awesome. So snorkeling - beat I’ve ever done. They have drift snorkeling where they drop you off and you drift along with the current. Saw the most amazing fish, blue starfish and even a sea snake (beautiful, but keep away)

Ubud is a cool hipstersish town with fun bars and restaurants to eat and drink at. If your staying at and Airbnb see if the host will drive you around. It will be a lot cheaper then paying for all the taxis.
