Guys - help me decide. Left or right? Let’s assume value retention and reliability are out of the question.

Right. Love the Tudor dial

likesmart

Tudor makes beautiful watches but I just can’t get over the hideous hour hand.

smart

Both stunning watches. If you’re a pilot, then go with Brietling even tho I think the Tudor May hold value better. If I were you, I’d save up for another year and scratch that Rolex itch instead :)

Haha, I have 2 datejust (36 and 41) but for some reason I am never really too into Rolex’s sports models...

Just love the Tudor, so classy. Right

like

Left. The Tudor looks too gaudy with all the bronze. It’s a shame cause even though it’s a beautiful watch up close, from a distance I would think it’s a cheap watch that a person in their early 20s would wear to try to look cool

like

Haha, I can see that. Maybe will look better after the bronze has developed some patina.

like

Breitling if it’s between these two. But I’d have a BB58 over the Breitling

like

I don’t like the blue one. Would have sold a shitload if they had made the 58 a GMT.

Tudor for me

What's the role in your collection? Bronze is not the most versatile so if it's your only nice watch/daily I would probably go for a normal SS BB over the BBB, or the left option since a black dial diver always works, but if you're going for something fun and different then BBB

like

Then it sounds like the BB would be a great fit :)

Neither. Gun to my head, right

like

Neither, but right in a pinch. The left one reminds me of an Armani-type fashion watch.

like

Breitling looks better to me. Tudor will hold value better though

like

Right. I almost bought that Tudor.

like

The dial is great. The slab sided case just doesn’t fit my wrist right

Left! Although the mesh bracelet is a bit dressy. The watch pairs up nicely with black leather strap.

I’d go with the Breitling. I’m eyeing the green Superocean.

like

Left. I hate bronze watches and I don’t believe it’ll have the longevity most hope for. If it were a stainless Tudor I’d go right though

Finally pulled the trigger on my first expensive watch. I was originally looking to get the Speedy but when I tried it out at the AD. Didn’t cut it for me but I fell in love with this one. Looks better in person. What are some good options for straps? Nato or rubber (similar to oh omega rubber strap)
Also, thanks to the bowl for helping with some watch knowledge and advice
