Seeking advice: Looking at long term Career salary trajectory between the big 4 vs big tech. Currently a director /sr manager at a big 4 and have an offer from a big tech firm paying 30% more. Long term, i can make partner at my firm in a few years if I stay, which has its benefits. If i go to big tech, im assuming i will be able to make partner salary even sooner. $ aside, not sure about the wlb at big tech. looking for advice from everyone else if i should stay at my firm or take this offer?

When is it time to give up on a job offer coming in and move on? Internal recruiter has been in constant contact with me and extremely positive, but the final decision seems to keep getting pushed off because they can’t get all the decision makers together to decide - 3 weeks now. Leadership only promotes people who kiss ass the most qho have no managerial experience and pass people who actually have experience in a manager role. Leadership never helps you with anything. Is TCS stringent with its rules to hire ppl with 60% Marks throughout the career i.e. 10th, 12th and Degree. I have 10+ years of experience and have cleared technical round but my 10th Marks are 57%. Will TCS reject me ?

I have an offer from tcs for Asst consultant at 25LPA which I got after stellar interviews, but it was a hard negotiation since my current pay was 17.5 And 25 was above TCS standards for most people at 9.8 YOE.

Now Cg has offered retention at 23 LPA to me.

Does anyone know if TCS will go for a further increase of I present them with counter offer i have and indicate that i am preferring retention.
