GUYS. Just created the ultimate hotel hack for heating up food since SHERATON decided that MICROWAVES aren't necessary. 1. Make hot water in coffee machine 2. Put food in bag for ice 3. (Cont.)

Props for that response and your jolly spirit, OP.

Lol! And here I thought all you kids were out partying every night, but in reality you are just trying to figure out hotel hacks. One of you should write a book. Lots of people try to save their per diems any way they can. One guy in a reasonable city said he saved enough in his per diems to cover his rent. OP- do you. Amazed at the ingenuity!

OP, why not just book at Residence Inn so you can have a stove and microwave?

Does PwC not cover meal expenses?

And sous vide is made in bags that are heat safe, not cheap garbage bags the hotel gives out for ice.

like

I've used a hair dryer before to heat up food. Those things do get pretty hot. Great tip OP. Atleast for me it's a combination of not wasting food (there's people out on the streets right in front of hotel who don't have food. Imagine millions of others worldwide) and saving Per diems

like

WTF

like

But I get it because I don't like wasting food after spending some Saturday mornings packing meals for less fortunate (and trying to be in shape RD said halve my dinners)

like

Omg I read this post out to my boyfriend and he said he used to do exactly the same thing in his PWC days. Thankfully I have now instilled better sense in him.

Yuck lol.

Perhaps you're just someone that enjoys some home cooking but could you confirm for me if PWC has a meal expense? @op

Most hotels will give you a microwave for like $25

Oh. Hey thanks bcg!

The front desk at a few hotels have brought a fridge and microwave to my room for free when I've asked for them

Your job is to solve problems right, well there you go.

Lounges have microwaves everyone, wtf

Now, I’m seriously considering leaving my current company because of what one of the prospect companies represent: everything I want in a company/role.
