I have got a offer from JP Morgan, I had asked them for joining bonus which they declined but have told me they would pay me my annual bonus(pre defined in current organization) in January as incentive along with rest of organization. They have declined to give this in writing anywhere and have asked to have faith in verbal commitment. Is this a normal practice?

I am a Chartered accountant and truth be told given the current times CA is a really low incentive education any potent person can get. Today I see engineers barely with a few years of experience earning lakhs per month. Whereas me despite being in the right place at the right time is working hard 10-11 hours each day even today. Very close to receiving a job offer for a fast growin start-up company related to dental. It is located in SF which unfortunately is not Americas most expensive city to live in (I’d have to move there). Started pricing apartments and will need an offer of about $135k to qualify for housing but anything I find for a salary reference says the company plays about 95k in SF - how do I justify my experience and drive to the company to show my value or is that too big of a wage gap to bridge? 12 years and my partner won't do chores. Vent vent vent. I make 80% of our income and pay 80% of expenses. I'm also tidy but hate cleaning. Partner works 20-30 hours/ week no kids and is a slob. 3 months ago made chore list, got them to sign on the list the 50/50 split that it was fair. 3 months later I've been doing my chores they haven't done any. Brought it up today and was accused that the list was unfair they refuse and they dont have time because they must "work to subsidize your expenses"

My first switch. I got an offer from KPMG India. I accepted that and after that I got an offer from Deloitte India. I didn't show the offer to Deloitte. Deloitte is giving a bit more extra in fixed part like 50K. Now I want to join Deloitte. Don't want KPMG to match or give more.
