I currently max out my 401k, is it worth reducing my 401k contributions to save aggressively for a 20% down payment. My lease ends in July so would consider buying around that time frame. Or is it better to keep maxing 401k and just put less down and pay the PMI?

I got a big pay bump switching gigs, and silly, naive, me was floored to see the taxes that came out of my 1st paycheck! Only thing not set up yet is my 401k (internal glitches) so that should help a little, maxing out an HSA too, but holy hell I don't feel like I'm doing much better than on my old salary.
