I just joined, Wonolo, a fast growing start-up, and so far I’ve been loving it! Empathetic leadership, great culture, and decent work-life balance. They are hiring a ton so let me know if there are any roles you are interested in. The company reviews are below. https://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Working-at-Wonolo-EI_IE1322531.11,17.htm
Can you still get an internal referral when you are already in touch with a recruiter at EY?
Hi, I was on a production support project in Tech Mahindra and I switched to PySpark developer role in CTS. My CTC updated from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. I have 3.5 YOE. Can you please share your thoughts about this switch in terms of profile change and the CTC? Is PySpark developer same as a data engineer role? Thank you.
I am going from C to SC in a very short span of time in my career, assuming I accept a job offer. What are some major changes that I will face? WLB? Responsibility? Leading a team without concrete prior experience in leading? Will I survive in that role so young into my career?
Received a job offer that was same title and pay. After hearing more about the position, I felt that it was more senior. Asked if they were open to bringing me on as a senior, and they happily agreed….. except when I got the new offer, it was still the original salary lol. I don’t want to come off as greedy, but this feels odd. I really love the place and the people I’ve met, but this gives me doubts
Anyone here work at fundrise? Been working at a REIT and looking to pivot. Lots of job openings at fundrise have caught my attention but not sure which group I’d be the best fit.

I have 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry and have leveraged ML for couple of projects. I want to shift to an ML engineer/researcher role now (flexible about job location). Since ML is quite vast and a highly competitive field, what is the best way to venture into ML job role?
My girlfriend and I are moving to LA, as she just landed a psychology research position at UCLA. I make $85K annually working fully remote, and she’ll likely make close to $40K annually, putting us at a combined income of $125,000 pre-tax. Are we crazy to think we can afford $3,195/month for an apartment in Santa Monica that we absolutely love? Would you recommend it?

As a PM, do you ever read the instruction booklet for a device / physical product? Or just assume it should be intuitive, try it a few times and then troubleshoot with the booklet after? Just trying to see if it's just me, or if that's a typical PM trait.

I am in my late 20s and due to luck + hard work + family support I am earning ~110k usd post tax and have our own home and couple investment properties. The mortgage is ~3k per month between me and the hubby, so very affordable. No kids yet. I am at a stage where I am dreading consulting but feel like we have not earned enough yet for me to transit to a lower income job, but at the same time we are comfortable enough that I feel I could spend my time better/ more meaningfully in a (cont.)

Is Deloitte m&a “management office” team the equivalent to pwc DDV practice or more tied to S& work? They’ve reached out a few times but unsure if it’s only PMO or diligent mixed. Trying to understand the role better to see if it’s worth the stress of interviewing!
What is the compensation offered by Deloitte at ISB during campus recruitment in consultant level?
I joined consulting for the fast-paced lifestyle, travel, etc. Now that that is mostly gone, what are some other industries that have the same caliber of intensity/travel/lifestyle? I need that sort of thing.
Currently working in IT audit and looking to exit. I just received an offer for a GRC analyst role that will net me a 30% increase in TC. I realize there are multiple other factors but just wondering if GRC will open up more opportunities in my future career compared to sticking it out in IT Audit? I’m pretty desperate to get out of IT Audit but I also don’t want to make the wrong move here.

Should I go through the more painful process of sorting the MA bar, or just do NY and hope that I get a job that doesn't require being admitted to MA bar? Work in big law in Australia and also wondering about my chances of getting a job in big law in US without a US degree. Thoughts? Anyone seen it done?
