^what bank allowed a Roth without residence? I'd honestly like to know I lose so much in taxes every year
Following.. I thought I wasn't eligible for Roth or traditional 401k without a green card.
I'm using betterment and Mckinsey 401k
Neither of those should allow Roth
I have contributed to ROTH in a Fidelity account for 3 years.. I am on a H1B. I did not know that permanent residence was needed.

Chase, BofA, vanguard and Cap1 don't allow Roth IRA for h1bs. I'll have to look at fidelity and see how they get around the citizenship field. Total lifesaver if they do!
