I hate incompetent managers passing out judgements they aren't qualified for. Just because someone oversees your work doesn't mean it makes them smarter.
I'm more troubled by the fact that she's still with your firm...
Pwc1 I would normally agree with that theory but she was someone who cut others down and after this now infamous performance review with her, I took it really hard and went the opposite route. Thought everything I did was wrong and had no confidence in my (great) work products. And @Deloitte2-- agreed!! Not only is she still at the firm but she was promoted once since then. Doesn't matter now though 👋🏻
Put her on lunch duty.
That's awesome
I have a similar story, my male manager was so horrific to me and an extreme sexist. Now resource management is asking me to staff him. Guess who is getting no utilization this year
Run dem circles round her
This is awesome. Good for you. Though in her defense perhaps that allowed you to push and make it versus what you could have been doing at the time. We've all had our times when we were not shining at bright as we'd like.
Isn't that sad? They go undetected on how they manage people and create issues.
Life is good
@booz op that's awful. I figured when I said that it could be the case but wanted to give a devils advocate perspective to keep us honest. Good for you though to turn around and see the value you could add. And good for your firm for recognizing it!!
Love this! You go get them 👏👏
