To be honest if I just got a “yeah we should!” with no follow-up I might take it as a polite blow-off, like the classic “we should definitely grab coffee sometime” not paired with suggesting a date to do so.
Do not text him. I’m repeating do not chase a man. Let him chase you. He’s not the only one out there. In fact, when he texts you and offers to meet on a specific day, just say that you have plans on that day. Let him chase you, it’s in men’s nature to chase women. Once you are reachable and always free, you’re no longer interesting. If he wants you and likes you, he will find you.
