Hi all,
I have two campus EY Deloitte on the table from Deloitte Tax (BTS), and EY Tax (DSG). Both are located in the SF Bay Area. Deloitte is paying 2k higher base and a 2k higher bonus.
I have to make my decision by the end of next week, so I’d appreciate some input and opinions on which offer I should take.
Opinions needed - I applied for several jobs with Deloitte about a year ago. (I knew I was punching up and didn’t quite meet the requirements). A year later, I have a way better profile and am getting interviews. Is it best to go ahead and delete the jobs from my profile that I didn’t get, or leave them to show my interest in the company for a long period of time? Or does it not matter at all?
Tending to family emergencies and deaths is ALWAYS more important than work. Any client or employer that does not acknowlege this is poisonous.
First I’d explain directly to your client counterparts. If they don’t accept that you are probably best leaving and finding a new project. Unless you were leading the sessions (and sometimes even then) there is no reason you couldn’t be absent for a valid reason and remain on the project. Seems fishy
To be honest- I really don’t know. They said they covered for me
-client told my team last week that they don’t want me in an upcoming workshop bc I don’t really bring value.
Honestly, at this point I’m going bc I feel guilty for taking time off. But I don’t want to be there if I’m not needed and would rather be home anyways. but idk what to do
Did management communicate to the client that there was a death in the family?
