Just received some rough project feedback the likes of which I’ve never hear from others before... (cont)
I always thought it was strange that agencies rarely let candidates know the client until they are towards the end of the process. My position has way more job security than others simply because I work for a CPG client. Those in the same role on other accounts (e.g. airlines, hotels, fitness) have been furloughed or even laid off just because of the nature of the industry their client is in. Do we think agencies will have to be more transparent and let candidates ultimately chose the client?
The moment even your client says it's a shit show happened today! Time to travel home 🏡, love this job lol 😂
What salary should an entry level 1. digital media associate or 2. client service associate ask for in Chicago? Asking for my mentee.
Is an LCA required for starting at a new project but location remaining the same (work-from-home)?
I’ve been struggling on whether or not I should talk to my boss about one of my assignments. I am an entry level HR analyst with one year of professional experience and she has tasked me with leading a strategic agency-wide project. This entails procuring a consultant, directing work of our senior analysts, leading a cross functional team to implement the project, point person, managing project timeline and deliverables, updating our policies and procedures to integrate the project, etc. To me, this is senior level work and should be done by the more senior analysts who have experience in this area. I understand it can be a great learning opportunity but feeling nervous. Thoughts?
What are all the art directors making in SF? My review is soon and need to know if I’m getting underpaid. Been in the industry 5 years and am working on a major client.

When an Associate can't call in because they're "busy all day with client work" today. Oh, sorry. I forgot you're the only one.
How long can you ride the bench? Will be rolling off my project soon and would like to spend my beach time applying to industry jobs

If the "average" applicant keeps getting better and better every year, is it still worth it for the below average folks to get an MBA? Feel like my gpa, work experience, and activities were good until everyone else had the same or better :/

What’s with all the hate on Accenture Strategy recently? Sure, we’re not MBB. But we do win lots of quality deals (more as of recently) against MBB and T2 firms. What gives?
Hey fish - heading to San Diego for work and will be staying back for an extra day to see the city. Recommendations on things to do and vegetarian friendly restaurants? Good/calm place for a SUP n00b?
My significant other just got promoted after working 1 year as a business analyst at a local firm and his salary is now way over mine. I’m an audit senior with 2 years experience. Now he logs off at 5:30 to go to gym while I’m working long hours and struggling every day. I know I should be happy for him and understand we’re just in different industries but still this makes me feel hopeless and unmotivated being in public accounting.
