Also, we’re supposed to get like 2 feet of snow tonight so the possibility of a snow day is high! One of the best starts to the new year in my whole career :) What good things happened to other teachers this week?

Of late I am receiving multiple "negative feedback" ,"profile on-hold" from HRs. I am sure as hell that this feedback is based on the pay and not the technical/managerial/director round results.

No offense but should HRs have this much of a deciding authority over a candidate's selection?

I'm finding that as a the special needs coordinator with a caseload of kids, I've become the "go-to" for EVERY issue related to my students, even things that counselors and admin should be handling. I have an 18 year old student who should have graduated in 2020, but at this time only has a third of the required graduation credits for my public high school. What do you use to progress monitor your students in math and reading?

I’m a SPED Resource/Inclusion Teacher which I really love. I really like working with the Gen Ed teachers maybe because my background is Gen Ed. I’m noticing many SPED team members go straight to the principal if they have an issue with a Gen Ed teacher instead of going to the teacher directly. Is this the norm now? What happened to SPED working with Gen Ed? Maybe I’m old school, but this seems so wrong to me. Thoughts?
