Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?

People don’t set up a call to say no, so that’s a good sign
Sounds like he might want to personally extend an offer or hammer out the details. He definitely isn’t making all the rejection calls himself.
Fingers crossed!
Wow look at this guy getting multiple interviews. I usually get an immediate call back about my resume and then nothing unless I email them back to get confirmation of a formal rejection.
Update: it was to give me an offer!!!

Probably going to offer you the job. Don’t wanna jinx it so won’t congratulate you. Good luck!

It’s to negotiate the offer - he’s willing to give a little. Nothing scares someone more than a 5-10 second pause followed by a “hmmmm”.
You’re in the game. Play to win.
Probably wants to give you an offer over the phone.
But wouldn't the HR person be the one to give the offer, not the CFO? So that's why I'm confused

It’s a startup
He wants to get to know you more imo. Offer only comes through HR
This isn’t true. I got an offer last week, also for a startup, and the CFO called me directly to extend the offer.
