During the initial screening call the recruiter asked me for salary expectations I said it was too early to tell. I asked them to share a range & they did. Now that I’ve finished interviewing they’ve followed up & asked me again about salary expectations. I replied with a range between 5-10%>the high end of their range based on market research & my experience exceeding their requirements. I’m concerned the hiring manager will discard me b/c my counter was higher. Thoughts?

Tips for working at a smaller company? I spent 5 years at larger tech companies, not faang but 5-10k employees. My current company is 500 employees so not a super tiny start up, but feels so small compared to the others. I have 2 offers 1. Start up 60 LPA EM role, 40K ESPOS , 2 . Well known public listed company 51 lpa ( Lead Role) 90K RSUs . I said yes to second after some negotiation. HR was not willing to pay more than this even though it is just 20% hike from my current salary. But I accepted the offer as i wanted it badly. Now I got offer from start up as well (1) , can i still ask her to consider the 2nd offer and pay me accordingly? Or it will lead to offer cancelation:(

How would you approach serving on an interview panel for a role you are actively looking to leave? Hiring this counterpart to my current role is critical as the team is understaffed, which also means that I can’t easily opt out of the panel. I was diagnosed as prediabetic a couple months ago. Made changes to my eating habits and did IF. I decided to purchase the CVS A1C self test to see what my A1C is and it registered at 4.9%. I have never tested my A1C before (was diagnosed as prediabetics because my 2hr glucose test results were bad). I wanted to see what my current levels are so that I get a feel of what to expect when I get tested at a lab next month. But is this even possible? A reading of 4.9% and considered prediabetic?

Hello! I updated to the latest version of MUI library for Figma. I’ve noticed quite a few changes (mostly improvements) and had a question. In some of the variant states you’ll see an asterisk. Is this referring to a components default state? I notice that for buttons the Primary color and Medium size have asterisks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something important here.
