Had a very strange experience I would love some feedback on. Interviewed with a company for director of product role, and was told that their product leadership had “imploded “ and all left (red flag 1). Got through 2 individual interviews and an entire day of interviews with another 8 people. Made it to final “presentation” ( the exercise was ludicrous btw, took 8 hours). 3 weeks later and a few emails and No feedback or response. Totally disrespectful or what? Just lacking basic decency.

I had a great initial interview with a peer of the hiring manager and received very positive feedback from the interviewer. Checked-in with recruiter the next day.

Recruiter: can we meet next week for just 15 mins?
Me: sure

I then had a look at the job posting and it was “no longer available”. But my application still shows as “under consideration”.

Tell me why this is nothing to worry about.

Hi all! I wanted to share a tip I’ve learned that really helped me nail these interviews I just did. At the end of each interview, I always followed up with “Was there anything on my resume that I could provide some clarification for you?” This allowed my interviewer to bring up any further concerns/questions and let me really highlight my strengths, and gave me a chance to alleviate those concerns for them. I really do think this was a key factor as to why I got the job I did!

What is up with all these darn take home cases. Currently in an industry strategy and operations role, previously in consulting and being asked to model and build out decks. These take about ~4-10 hours

I have a offer from PwC US Advisory for Senior Associate role. They have offered fixed component but there is no mention of any variable component. How much on an average is there is performance bonus? I am currently working with Accenture which has variable component of 27%
Jus to get an idea of my total earning potential in the company and compare it with my current CTC

Attended tcs interview 3 months back. Tech and managerial round for over. The status in ibegin was Evaluation in progress. Docs are verified. Then I dint get any update.

Today I could see current status as candidate registered against job as current status. And the old update is showing under "track previous status".

Anyone go from big 4 -> zs? Have an offer - zs pays better, is really strong in life sciences but I’m not sure where I’d want to exit (ie might be vc, bschool, who knows). what are folks thoughts on the firm and it’s exit ops when you have already have big4 on resume. The main reason for this move is my big 4 group is heavy on big transformations, looking to get into more top line growth/strategy some optimization work etc

Had a really rough few weeks, just started a new project while in quarantine and it’s a crazy disorganized one with many late nights. I don’t feel like I’m meeting the team’s expectations even though I am trying my hardest. I’ve had discussions with leadership who have said “we hear you” but nothing has changed. Re: lateral moves & pay

Been with my employer for 4.5 years and am considering a lateral move into a group that’s being newly created.
Connected with the hiring manager and he says my current background would make me a great candidate, but there would obviously still be a learning curve.
Anyhow, I then spoke to the recruiter and she ‘warned’ me that if I got an offer it will likely not come with a pay increase.

Is that common? And if so, how do I make the case for more $$

Hey everybody, new here. But after reading through some of the post , I see that I am not the only one in the same boat. I’m in my 2 year as a teacher, currently a middle school math teacher. It was never my intention to begin with and I don’t mind it. I just know that’s not where my heart is. Anybody have similar experiences moving from teaching into another career such as something in finance. How would I even begin to break into the field with a degree in something not particularly related.
