Should I interview if I’m not ready to switch yet? I applied to Cloud positions in November with a referral, never got called, but a recruiter reached out this week about a YT role. However, I started a new role in a startup in January, and I’m learning a ton so I’m not ready to leave. I don’t think I’ll make it through interviews (it’s a technical role and my coding is rusty), but I’d like to get on a radar, as Google is my dream company. I don’t want to burn bridges, not sure how to approach.

Do you guys agree with these rankings?

To MBB fish, how do you like the people you work with? There’s a stereotype that the MBB culture is cut-throat and people can be unnecessarily aggressive. No offense but most of those I met in social settings gave me a generally arrogant vibe too. I’m looking to apply to MBB from Tech consulting, but wonder if I’d fit in their cultures. Yes a week later is too late lol.

Yeah. But don't worry about it.
No
I personally would not send now. Kinda awkward to do so. But don’t stress about not sending.
I understand; you just don’t want to sound awkward lol. From my experience firms rate the person within a few hours of the interview so it’s probably a moot point anyway.
Yeah moment has passed. Just let it go but most likely not a big deal.
I will forgo the email lol
Yes but don’t sweat it. Less people send thank yous than I would have guessed considering the law school career counselors made it seem life or death. I personally appreciate them and notice when one isn’t sent within a day or two, but as someone else suggested, I submit my rating form and comments within a few hours anyway.
Seems fine to me, if done very soon.

I can’t tell if you’re being facetious, but that was the point. Once a week has passed, it is far too late to send a thank you email. As someone would be “put off by [their] untimely reply.”
How about a follow up? Is there maybe something y’all discussed that you can bring up again with a newspaper article or a new case holding?
