I’m 4 mo. in at a growing, privately held company. I’m a founding partner in New Eng. territory w/ ownership stake. My authority is constantly undercut. I’m finding that the “big picture” meetings are happening without me. I push to be added in but I’m told mtgs didn’t take place. Debating betwn staying on with current team after negotiating a 30% increase or accepting PT role, with this negotiated increase the hourly pay is $1 different. In June I started a new role, but recently out of the blue I was let go as "not a good fit". There were no warning signs, I wasn't on any type of goal program and had just gotten my first deal. I was also working on a few others. At the time my mother was very ill and in the hospital, thankfully she's better. The employer knew this and to let me go in this manner as well as it's the holiday season, it's really starting to bother me. I wonder if there's any recourse?

How do you ladies manage finances and bank accounts with your SO? I’m getting married and realized we never really talked about it. Currently, we have one joint savings account that we’ve put money in for wedding expenses. We have our own checking accounts also. I suggested we keep our checking accounts, open a joint account for groceries/food/kids that we put a % of pay into (like 50)and keep our joint savings. My SO doesn’t like the idea of having 3 bank accounts 🙄 so I’m not sure what to do.

When did you know early on you were pregnant? This is the second time this week I’ve thrown up for no obvious reason. Monday I fell asleep on the couch around 8pm after sleeping about 9 hours the night before. I’m about a week out from being able to take a test with any semblance of accurate results.

Today is my birthday and I’m having the worst day. I’m pretty sure my husband forgot until he saw a Facebook post and even then, he put zero effort into anything. My 4yo is in a serious “I don’t want to go to school” phase (school=daycare).
