You're going to need to be more specific.

From BCG, I submitted my info. Didn’t lie, but I’m worried cause my pre-MBA experience was inconsistent. So worried that they will « uncover » me. Not sure… maybe just being anxious.

What does that mean?

like

How so

Like ever in the history of background checks? I am sure. Although if you didnt lie and have reasonable explanation when something gets flagged - you should be ok

Did you lie? You’ll get caught. Is it hard to explain but true? You’ll be fine

Probably. But if you haven’t lied about anything you’ll be fine. If anything they’ll reach out for additional clarity on whatever gets flagged.

Anyone else feel depressed over crypto? I bought maybe 8k worth in 2017, watched it go to 32k and then drop back to 8 and then to a low of 3k during the pandemic. I often averaged down, especially last year after i realized that they were climbing back up after the pandemic drop. At the end of 2020, my fiancée and i had huge costs with a lot of life changes, and made the decision to sell crypto since it was finally green and things with it felt a lot more uncertain than they do now.

I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. Is it wise to pay or stick around in residential sales just to avoid that penalty?

I got offered by my financial advisor to enter a closed private equity fund that has the objective (not guarantee) to 2x the capital in 10 years. That would mean a consistent 7.2% p.a. though I won't be able to sell, which is not a problem.

Do you think it's worth it?

I use this financial advisor because he's a family friend and I pay close to no fee and it was a nice way of getting into investing.

At what point does it not make sense to buy/ build a bigger home? My husband dislikes our house immensely (was his with former wife) and wants to move. I’ve tried to save on everything possible but my family commitments make me feel I will never be able to retire - I make 95k a year and started at 82 base and 14k sign on in 2019. From 2019-2020 I had to help a family memes out of debt (approximately 30k). FRIENDSHIP problems. Me and my best friend’s relationship drifted far apart during Covid where we don’t talk anymore. Nothing happened, just lack of effort. We used to be inseparable sisters. I tried making the effort to talk, but all I would get is short fake texts. I’m worried that I won’t have any friends or BFF to stand by me at my wedding. My circle of friends to talk/connect is getting smaller. I used to have a lot of friends but now not so much, I’m 27.
