Had anyone ever failed a background check?

Anyone else feel depressed over crypto? I bought maybe 8k worth in 2017, watched it go to 32k and then drop back to 8 and then to a low of 3k during the pandemic. I often averaged down, especially last year after i realized that they were climbing back up after the pandemic drop. At the end of 2020, my fiancée and i had huge costs with a lot of life changes, and made the decision to sell crypto since it was finally green and things with it felt a lot more uncertain than they do now.

I’ve had this idea for a while: having a bunch of shared rentals for multiple skiing locations, and having shared buy-ins for people in this group with flex. I wanted to test waters to see interest!

I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. I’m financially struggling and 3k is a big number to pay now. The new job will be paying me $2000/month up until the first year only. Is it wise to pay or stick around in residential sales just to avoid that penalty?

I want to avail contingency loan of 50k, but my reason for loan is not listed and neither I can provide proof for why I need loan.

I got offered by my financial advisor to enter a closed private equity fund that has the objective (not guarantee) to 2x the capital in 10 years. That would mean a consistent 7.2% p.a. though I won't be able to sell, which is not a problem.

Do you think it's worth it?
