Had final round last week. Recruiter reached out 3 days ago saying they want an additional interview and a coordinator will reach out to schedule but haven’t heard anything. Too early to follow up?

Yea you should wait a week at least

True.. although the recruiter did mention that I should hear the final outcome next week. I assumed he meant verbal offer/no offer so it feels weird that no one scheduled the interview. I may have misunderstood what he meant tho

Ikr 3 days isn’t a long time but so far they have been quick to respond. Also the request for an additional round feels strange? Not sure if they are just trying to delay the process given the uncertainty right now

Corona is causing a freeze

At an agency I’d go straight to the CD, but this is a consultancy that doesn’t have that sort of structure.

Sunday thoughts - prepped for an upcoming interview all day and felt wracked with self doubt. Then realised that the 5-year-ago (22yo) me would be thrilled to be where I am now. I came from nothing from the middle of nowhere - the land of teen moms and red necks. I had imposter syndrome all throughout undergrad and didn’t believe in myself. If you’ve come a long way, share your story and let’s toast to our successes. This job can be hard, but getting to today hasn’t been easy either

Hey all, Been out of work for about a year now, been interviewing and actively since being laid off due to companys budget cut. Was in final / decision rounds before covid and everything has been tbd or rescinded since. Responses have been few and far in between and now the year gap is becoming a concern. Would like to ask if anyone has tips or can point me in the right direction. I come from a management consulting/prod mgt background in tech. Disregard the risk consultant title.
