After my first FET with a PGT tested embryo my HCG was 145 (8 days post transfer); one week later my HCG dropped to 31. My RE mentioned there is no hope and we will move on to additional testing before going into the next transfer cycle. Is there indeed no hope for the HCG to increase at this stage? What tests did your RE conduct after a failed FET. The embryo did implant, but did not develop.

Tough IVF mama warriors, would you start a new job in the middle of your stim cycle (fresh transfer)? What reasons would you give to the potential employer so you start 2-3 days after your transfer day?
It’s about a 3 week gap on the proposed start date to when i wrap up the ivf/transfer. I don’t want to jeopardize my ivf since transitioning into a new job can be stressful and I wasn’t successful in the last round. I am almost kicking myself for trying to pursuit a new career while ivf. 😕😔

Did IUI couple of times but failed. Not sure it works , fertility specialists are not that much interested in IUI but directly recommend IVF. For context am 39 , although have history of endometriosis and have a cyst in ovary do only 1 ovary is producing eggs. How long after a failed transfer does your stomach and body feel like it’s back to normal? It’s been a little over a week since I got the news that my transfer a few weeks ago didn’t work. But my stomach is still so pooched out and looks pregnant that it makes me cry knowing that’s not the case. Trying to eat clean, tons of long walks, but still feel really bloated and gross.

I’m about to start my cycle and insurance will cover my medications but I’m nervous insurance won’t cover additional meds for more rounds. Already ordered meds through my insurance . Anyone have any luck with a fourth IUI medicated cycle? RE recommended three cycles before moving to IVF, but we planned a much needed vacation that will fall right in the middle of an IVF cycle, so decided to do a fourth IUI so we don’t lose the month.
