Trump blasts his 'unstable niece' Mary after she released secret tapes.
In the tapes, Maryanne Trump Barry, 83, slams Ivanka Trump as a "mini Donald", calls Eric a "moron", and Don Jr. "cheap, just like his father"
Your family knows you better than anyone, especially your siblings. Clearly, he didn't challenge Maryanne's comments but attacked the messenger.
MBB spying on Accenture? Aprils fools!
Going to say it again: you do not possess nuclear secrets. We are in consulting. Knowing the process isn't enough to sell the case. We have to point to real experience. No one is trying to steal your method, especially if it's an Accenture method. I'm sure plenty of people are in MBBs from Accenture. This whole debate is silly. We want to know your thinking process. Clearly yours is not very good.
There is no proprietary methodology. Just expert knowledge in this field. The moment the method is used by a client, everyone will know
OP - is this role within the expert track? If yes, then what you are sensing may be true.

Unsure whether they're taking me seriously or just want my knowledge. Also hard to showcase my experience without divulging methodology but don't want to fully hold back to piss them off and not get the job...
Through leadership. Don't want to divulge more to not be identified...
At BCG1, the partner literally asked "for this type of analysis, how would you do it, what specific tools would you use?" It seemed they had all these underlying hypothesis and are trying to validate or improve their current methodology...
Because the role they're filling is to understand the process, not describe your role as a cog
That's a pretty common tactic in interviews to ask potential new hires what they're thoughts are on certain hypothesis. We A) want to see if people already know the solution somewhere and B) see how well you do at problem solving
I do the same type of questioning when interviewing someone. It's not because I don't know how to do it -- it's because I want to make sure they know how to do it. If they give me an idea I hadn't thought of, I am obviously going to try to hire them.
How did you get the interview?
Questions have been framed as what is the process rather than what was my role in the process which was barely asked...
Maybe they want to see if you can bring a fresh perspective to the position you're interviewing for
That's exactly what I was thinking BCG1. This type of naiveté would be an easy disqualifier
@op.....my mbb interviews were all about whether i could create a custom framework on the fly to solve a problem. I remember my friends over there telling me that mbb wasnt about following an acn methodology or pov to get to the right answer because in their world you have to create custom solutions. If a clients problem could be solved by a acn methodology then they would engage acn and not mbb. My gut is telling me that you have missed the entire difference between mbb and acn
