Had mid-year reviews last week. As a senior reviewing the staff, management said no staff are ready for senior promotion. Doesn’t this look bad on management that they can’t promote from within?

I had a great review and a 5.5% raise and a great bonus at my company. But I also got a new Director and a peer manager of mine left the company, so I will be absorbing her team. In addition, my director said I will be receiving 'deep delegation' from them. I don't mind more work, but deep delegation is a new term I've never heard. What does that mean lol?

What would you as other operators recommend as stepping stones to a legal ops role?? Baby Professional here - I was just given the second half of a promotion into Tier 2 for my company, on course for a Tier 3 promo in the next 6mo to 1yr. It's a smaller company and I believe they are willing to pay to grow my talent as I've already done very well with deliverables and all metrics thrown my way.

My questions is how much do I ask for at the Tier 3 promotion? Since they divided the Tier 2 promo into two smaller rasies, I've landed at 55K. I want to ask for an appropriate amount.

Every PM job posting I see in big tech/FAANG requires a MINIMUM of 5+ years experience, and a large portion even require 7+ years. Most of the associate/rotational PM roles require 3+ years and some require 5+.
