Don’t micromanage. Short-term returns are essentially random and even long-term returns don’t predict future performance.
Having an international allocation is very important. Keep it and don’t worry about the returns for a while.
Just make a plan and stick with it. Don’t change based on recent performance. I have an allocation to international and believe it offers diversification.
What CoS1 and EY1 said. For long term investing the allocation is important because it spreads your risk out. Here and there (especially in weird unpredictable markets) you might end up light in things that shoot up, or heavy in things that drag, but shifting your allocation around to chase a return will hurt you in the long run because you can’t possibly time everything right.
Set it and forget it. Review it once or twice a year to rebalance for drift or if you see a similar fund/etf that performs consistently better than one you’re in, etc. but otherwise it’s not meant to be a trading account.
Across all of my portfolio (IRAs and 401k) I generally maintain 30% large cap, 20% mid cap, 15% sm cap, 15% intl equities, 15% US bonds, 5% intl bonds. It’s served me pretty well.

Importantly, rebalance for drifts in allocation, not to chase performance. That means you’ll be selling the winners and buying the losers. It’s counterintuitive for many people but that rebalancing can actually enhance returns.
Rebalance and buy more international
What efts did you use for each allocation?
