Only your interviewer and God can know. We are generally not good assessor's of our own performance. My advice is to celebrate your hard work to get to the final round, have a nice dinner, enjoy your favorite hobby, and keep your phone on you. Hope you hear good news soon! (:

Thanks this is good advice!!

My advice is to just relax. There’s nothing you can do now and generally candidates are pretty bad at evaluating their own performance. I thought I bombed my first round and I got an invite to the decision round. Then I thought I had knocked my DR interviews out of the park and found out years later that I had done very well in two and barely squeaked by in the third. Go for a run have fun, and you’ll hear soon enough.

I guess you’re an MDP now lol?

I aced both cases and didn’t get it :) but have heard of people doing the same as you and getting it

No I did :)

We need to publish so widely that your performance during case is impossible to assess. Think about what the interviewer is thinking. Sometimes you get pushed if you’re killing it just to see what you can do, and sometimes it gets dumbed down to make sure you finish in the allotted time. But overall, there is no way to know how you did against the other 15 people that person interviewed that day with the same case

Appreciate the insight!

Depends more on ur thought process…

Hopefully my thought process was adequate haha

Bad math won’t stop you from getting the job, but I don’t think candidates are necessarily good judges of their own performance.

How do you look at base vs equity pay? I’ve never had to deal with this before, and so looking for some advice. I have an offer where the base pay is below what I was looking for, but the base + equity (monthly vest immediately) is much higher than my aim. How do you think about this? What is the right approach?
