Had my interview this past Monday.

My recruiter meets every Thursday to get feedback from the interviewer, so I’m not expecting to hear back until next Friday.

I get an email today, from a Googler, an invite to apply for a position. I did not accept or decline yet and I don’t have any details. I did look up the person who sent me the invite, the person is a regional lead.

Any ideas what this could be? I’m a bit nervous and don’t know if I should reach out to my recruiter to ask her?

Does anyone have advice for job hunting? I’m 25 and work at CNN currently. I’m trying to progress in my career but there just doesn’t seem to be any opportunities. I’m trying to keep myself motivated but it’s tough to get no responses or plain rejections.

Heard on-cycle interviews are likely kicking off this weekend/ next? If a firm hasn’t reached out to me for a coffee chat at this point, should I expect that they’re not interested in interviewing me?

Applied for a B4 senior forensic role, but was not even granted an interview after my initial phone screen with HR; I’m confused why because i thought they needed bodies. I am struggling to find a job in UX, I received my Master's in UX Design from Kent State University last year with a 4.0 GPA but that doesn't seem to matter. I have applied to hundreds of posts with barely any replies back. My education has taught me a lot however I feel I need the work experience to be taken seriously. Been trying to find a new job because $112k just doesn't seem right for 3+ years as an Eng 3. On the east coast wanting to move out to California. Not getting many bites. Do employers ignore applications for people who would need to relocate?

I interviewed for a position at Microsoft recently and I'm a bit confused by the experience. The recruiter wanted to know my exact salary at my current company...He said hiring managers will not even look at my resume until I share my numbers. I declined to share my current comp and he said if I wanted to move forward I have to share that info.

Do I have to disclose this? And is there a way for them to verify it if I say a higher number?

I was approached for a potential job by a recruiter. In the informational meeting they mentioned that the hiring manager and I are connected. I decided to reach to this person expressing interest and letting them know a recruiter would be submitting my resume. Does anyone have helpful hints on how to manage the interview process in terms of timing? I have 5 opportunities going in various stages. Two of them are in 3rd interview stage, and a “perfect role” just popped out of nowhere from a recruiter in early stage. I realize that companies have very different timelines too, but how do you all queue up your personal timeline to be able to consider multiple offer(s) if it leads to that?
