I legit just lie and said I had an offer on the table and I’m still really interested in this xyz position and was looking to see if there was an update. It’s worked for me on two different job switches and also on negotiating 😉
Follow it up weekly. They own you a response. 10+ days without a response is often a no-go or being a back up candidate at best. Move on after 3 weeks.
Isn’t 10 days excessive? I would expect an offer (at least verbally) within a few days if I was chosen.
1) I get they may want to interview others, but not if they wanted to hire you. 2) I wonder if 10 days allows them to keep you as their second choice. Ie give an offer to one individual and keep you on hold in case they reject.
I’m in a similar situation and not optimistic about 10-day crickets. It’s quite rude.
I would go through the recruiter, thank them for setting up the interview, reaffirm your interest, and ask if they have received any feedback from the hiring manager.
I have cleared technical round of Mindtree, I received a call from HR stating that I have next round today, however he didn't explain me what that round is all about? If there is anybody who has recently cleared Mindtree interview who can explain me?Mindtree
I have attempted 4 rounds of interview in Microsoft, last round went good too but i did not get to hear anything after that. Last round interview was almost a week ago. What is the chance and probability now. Is ghosting stories true?
