No there are currently 0 cases in nyc and of those in the us (5) that represents a .00000002% chance of getting it. You are much more likely to get killed on your way to china town then getting the virus

The majority of nyc’s chinese population is from a different province far from Wuhan. Think New York to California from a distance perspective. You will be fine for now.

My cowrker said the same today, he said he’s going to avoid chinatown for awhile...
I mean the risks seem low, but also higher than any other place in the city you could go right now. Timing around lunar new year is pretty terrible given how many people travel for it.
