What’s the salary for M1 in deals
Hey folks, need some advise, I finished my loop for a GCP TAM role in early December and the recruiter just got back saying the feedback was positive and I need a call with the hiring manager to ensure alignment. He specifically said it’s a 30 minute conversation and not an interview, can anyone advise on what to expect, should instill treat this as a final interview? I’m assuming they’ll want to know more about my profile and what I’m looking to get from this role but anything beyond that?Google
anyone hiring? 🙏

Perhaps give them a range? Unless its a super specialized role, i may reduce the ask rate by a bit

Will you be 1099? Typically I'd look to double my effective hourly wage for that arrangement. For you that'd be $290/hr. Sure, some might balk, but I guarantee they're paying more than that for lawyers and other highly skilled resources. They're looking for a "hot skill" and a senior leadership role. I am continually confounded as to why it seems companies don't hire permanent for such a role, but the market is the market, and if you're not going to regret walking away without $250, don't feel bad doing it, because they're asking you to give up many things by abandoning your highly-paid W-2 role for this temporary contract one (regardless of length). No better time to set your price than day 1.
Thanks for confirming my thoughts!
Even at $250 I see a lot of value getting someone like me at half of my current firm bill rate
My TC comp now is just south of $300k.. not really interested in giving up full time employment for a lateral contract role.
This is a fairly specialized role. What I’m asking is what a big firm charges for someone with 5-10 years of experience so doesn’t seem completely crazy, but at the same time don’t have a good pulse on what is typical in the contracting world.

300k TC would be typical consulting senior director / managing director / VP comp, though they and CTA's can get that and more. I'm in the 250k range for TC, as a senior manager-level IC, non-HCOL area. A hot specialty like Ncino or CPQ or Marketing Cloud (and others) make it much easier to advance in comp or title.

If it’s C2C it sounds okay to me.
