Out of 100? Maybe I’d accept out of 200. I’m pretty grounded in reality.

Instead of comparing America to what you consider “bad countries” how about you hold it to a higher standard? A lot of folks have never been to a country where a hospital bill bankrupts you for life (America), or a child leaves for school and never comes back home again because of an active shooter (America), or black men are killed by cops on the street (America)....should I go on? If you want to be a true patriot, hold your elected government accountable. This isn’t about being a “perfect union” as you call it but about being better because there’s no reason we can’t.

It’s also been a lot worse historically in America. You need to know our history to understand that perspective.

Thanks for posting what should be an uncontroversial reflection on what is right about our country at a time when the focus is disproportionately on what’s wrong with it. And the backlash just makes your point! 🇺🇸

This! 1000000% 🇺🇸 Most of these folks wouldn’t survive in countries where they can’t even protest behind a keyboard.
