I am an international student who applied to mckinsey. I was contacted by my home country office for a first round interview although I did not include it in my office preferences list. I am yet to speak with the recruiter regarding the recruitment process.
Does this mean that all the offices I've put up as preference rejected me but somehow passed on my profile to my home country office?
Will I only be considered for this office?

The most depressing agency I’ve ever interviewed at was JWT NY. The lack of energy alone was enough to make me pass on their offer.

Any nurses currently working at NIH?I have 5 years of research experience and year and half experience as nurse working at the VA. Been trying to get to NIH for awhile. Any advice?

I have been in the pharma industry for 2 years and I have 2.5 years of undergrad research in microfluidics and nanofabrication for cancer cell identification. I am starting to apply to university for my master’s in biotechnology and I am looking to go abroad to Europe (mostly looking at Switzerland) and was wondering if anyone had any advice on presenting myself as a high-level candidate to research professors and the program in general?

Relocating to different city . Company not paying relocation cost . What approx cost for moving a 1 bedroom apartment. And is it better to sell stuff and buy new one ? Any experience is appreciated🙏🏻

I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? Hi all reposting here in case I get some help.
I've go an offer for a position as an SRE at Google Dublin. Even though I'll be losing some base salary, and a level from where I am at Microsoft, I'm considering moving. However, I was hoping somebody working at Google in Dublin could share which benefits you have to compare with (currently at Microsoft we have health insurance, life insurance, pension plan, subsidized meals).
Also, does anybody know if Google Dublin pays for the on call?

I was going to buy a condo this year and I just found one in a pretty good neighborhood. I do feel it is being sold at a premium but I can afford the property and locked down a 5.5% interest rate after a buy down costing 4K. Should I hold off on buying a place. The monthly payment is higher than I would have wanted but I feel like buying is better than renting because you are investing in yourself.I had saved up 40k and it’s in my account for buying. If I don’t buy what should I do?

I’m interviewing at 2 companies and am further along with the company I’m less interested in working for. Any advice on what to do if I get an offer from 1 before finishing the process with 2?

Funny story:
The janitors washed all the classroom rugs in June and hung them to dry. One disappeared and was presumed stolen. Today it was found. It was certainly stolen. A man had set up camp on the roof of a classroom using the rug as his bed.
