Ok need some help!!
Got an offer from a tech co that is slightly lower base salary than what i currently make at a cpg co $160k vs $162.7k. Both offer 15% target bonuses but the tech co offers $80k in equity that vests over 3 years with 1 yr cliff. They also offered a $15k sign on. I tried to renegotiate a higher base and equity and they wouldn’t budge. The cpg co provides $11k in rsu that vests over 4 yrs so basically nothing. Looking for thoughts on what you would do!

I’m depressed. Nothing unique about my depression - I’m in big law, my career defines me, when I’m not working I can’t find the will to get off the couch, I’m sad or I’m numb…I know I’m the only one that can make a change to my life…I’m on antidepressants. Just extremely unmotivated and paralyzed. Self-help books are not for me, but I am curious - has anyone tried a guided depression/anxiety journal? Any recommendations if so? Or, if you have experienced the same, what steps did you take?

Ladies, How do you cope up with fellow desi women gaslighting you when you are in a group thing/ get together and offline too? I avoided hanging out in bigger groups for the same reason from before but started facing it even in the smallest groups I have for some time now & it has been triggering & ruining my peace of mind. Even more when the spouses join the gaslighting bandwagon with their wife. For context, I’m single and never have anybody back me up.

I've been in projects where I've noticed white men clearly getting preference over me. Managers playing favourites or somehow trying to 'please' the white man. It's happened with both brown and white managers and I feel so lost. I feel drained and inadequate and I don't have it in me to put my head down and just push through anymore.

Not to sound like a hater or petty but is it just me or are Indian wedding getting out of control lately? I feel like they're so expensive and have so much going on like some Sangeets have a better set up than an awards show.
