I support this decision. 👍

Do you have the speedy pro moon watch? If yes, I would keep that. Just rid of the IWC and add a bit more to get the Exp 1. If not, get rid of both.

For me, a speedy on a NATO is just so different, and I wear that a lot on weekends when flashing a Rolex is just a bit too much. But go with your own feeling if those just don’t get you excited anymore.
I love my Speedmaster as it has the most sentimental value for me, and I wear it the most frequently of all my watches. It's honestly preference.
Your call tbh.

The Speedy and the IWC can easily be replaced at any time, anywhere, and likely for a nice discount every single time.
I had a Speedy Pro for about 9 months, and it was great, but it didn’t have any sentimental value and I had so many watches that keeping up with the manual winding was a b*tch (and the crown was small for my apparently fat fingers, and the clasp never fully locked on the first try). I’m glad I owned it; every collector needs one at one time or another, but I had no remorse or regret when I sold it.
I also had an IWC Portuguese 7-Day Automatic (white dial with those amazing blue hands). It was pimp, but just too big to ever feel “right”.
Both watches had timeless designs and are highly sought after, but if a watch loses its magic, don’t hesitate to try something new. The key is to either learn to be happy with what you have, or embrace the journey.
The Explorer 1 however, is the new standard by which all other watches are judged (for me).

It can’t be explained, and there’s no going back. Haha
where do you usually go to sell?

Word of mouth or ebay or consigned it to a shop of demand is dry. But got a full set for both incl the original receipt for the speedy. Shd be ok
