I stated my desired income on the very first call and this response was "keep in mind the sign on bonus".
To me that meant the will not meet my requirement.
I did get a job offer from them.... 8K less than what I asked for.

Considering taking a brand-side role to lead the creative marketing for an app I like, coming from a big agency environment. Great exec team, great pay, chance to build my own team, and frankly I'm tired of the churn and burn of agency life... But it would be my first client side role and I don't know what to expect. I'm scared of missing the imaginary cool factor of the agency world and afraid I'll get bored or something.

I started at a new company 2 months ago and while I’m really enjoying my job so far, I’m having a hard time gauging whether or not I’m doing a “good job.” My role seems to be always evolving, which is fine and I actually enjoy being a support to the greater marketing team, but I feel like I need better defined targets to make sure I’m meeting expectations. Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.
