Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.

Any tips on how to negotiate salary?
I stated my desired income on the very first call and this response was "keep in mind the sign on bonus".
To me that meant the will not meet my requirement.
I did get a job offer from them.... 8K less than what I asked for.
Considering taking a brand-side role to lead the creative marketing for an app I like, coming from a big agency environment. Great exec team, great pay, chance to build my own team, and frankly I'm tired of the churn and burn of agency life... But it would be my first client side role and I don't know what to expect. I'm scared of missing the imaginary cool factor of the agency world and afraid I'll get bored or something.
Would love thoughts from those who have made the jump.

Hi! I started at a new company 2 months ago and while I’m really enjoying my job so far, I’m having a hard time gauging whether or not I’m doing a “good job.” My role seems to be always evolving, which is fine and I actually enjoy being a support to the greater marketing team, but I feel like I need better defined targets to make sure I’m meeting expectations. Also, when I ask my boss what they’d like to see, I don’t ever get a clear answer. (Cont’d in comments)
Anyone else got told that they don’t meet the work experience requirements for their PERM role? Have less than 2 years left on my H1B until the 6 year max and don’t know my options. Our immigration team has not been responsive or helpful.
I want to hear and learn perspectives from people. To those condemning Russia (rightfully so imo), how do you justify the war in Iraq over weapons of mass destruction (that were at the end concluded by US intelligence did not actually exist)? I want to learn about the way these two events are interpreted nowadays, because at first glance it can be seen as hypocritical to cripple Russian economy without the same occurring to the US during the Iraqi war.
On a vendor call today and he simply did not listen to me. He pulled his "I've got 30 years experience" card and "I wouldn't have done it like this if it was wrong" and would not listen (continued)

Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.

Hello! I have a Q about salary - I was extremely underpaid at my previous agency. I made my switch to Zeno earlier this year but feel as though I undervalued myself when negotiating my salary. Finished the final round of interviews yesterday for a job I really want. I feel like it went well, but of course you always think about what you could have said to answer the question better afterwards. I wrote my thank you notes to each person I interviewed with…is there anything else you suggest I do to stand out as they make their decision? Appreciate any suggestions/advice!

Recently (9 months) started a comms role at a major company but the work/duties have been
very minimal and I feel like I'm wasting my
time. My old job (local government),
reached out to offer a Assistant Director
role but pay is roughly the same i'm at
now. Is it smart to leave the new major
company I'm currently at or should I go
back to my former company?

Our home improvement client is looking for an experienced PR Specialist to join their growing team!

-New product introductions, press document development and distribution, tracking and reporting
-Media relations - news announcements, management of relationships with reporters/producers, and proactive outreach
-Copywriting for all press documents, website and marketing collateral
So, on one hand I don’t agree with my agency’s counsel here , but on the other hand this is absolutely not breaking news nor is it even in the tiniest bit surprising.
