How have you all dealt with people you really dislike on your project? I've been lucky for the most part but now there are 4 girls who make me want to shoot myself every time I hear them talk 🙄😩
L1A visa question: I'm working at MBB and moved to Canada due to Visa issues. Now, my Immigration team is asking me to work on ONLY Canadian client projects so that I'm eligible for L1. Are you aware of any such eligibility criteria for L1A? I know so many people from Big 4 who go to India offices and continue to work on US clients, and then get L1 visa.
Every time I get staffed on a new project I still look up hotels near the client site to get a sense of what the project life would be like if it weren’t for Covid.
I got laid off as a AE, do you think I would be happy as a media planner? Before AE I assisted in media buying. My passion is client relations hence the AE path
Would you tell your manager that it is very obvious while on camera with the client that they aren’t paying any attention to the conversation.
Anyone have experience in music industry marketing? From the outside, it seems awesome to have a client who’s an artist instead of a middle-aged corporate white dude.
After joining HCL I received email with reporting mgr and all details. There Employee Reporting Location is mentioned as "Client Location" Does this mean I will not be working from HCL office, rather some local client office ? Domain is ERS. Imagining the YouTube ASMR references in the client presentation for that Michelob spot.
New client is 3.5 hours away driving (NJ to DC). Can't decide between driving, Amtrak or flying. Only 4 weeks of travel so I guess flying wouldn't benefit much from losing out on points.
Is the DoorDash take home case just their way of crowdsourcing free work? Feel like the questions they asked could easily be a 4 week project.
Client was 30 min late to our call, and says I'll join "now", 5 minutes into the call, his phone rings and he says wait a second until I'm done. Never shows up. 😐🔫

Flew business from Boston to Europe with Delta. We had 3.5hrs delay (so under the 4hrs delay for the EU law). I missed important meetings and the staff was quite rude. What would you ask?
Hi, So i joined LTI after being offered 8 LPA for 2 years experience. A friend of mine who is joining after me and has the same experience and for the same position is getting 9.5 LPA. Can I renegotiate my salary or the ship has sailed?

Is it commonplace to tip at the curbside check in counter? I was surprised when I checked a couple bags curbside and the Delta employee said that a tip would be appreciated.
What's the craziest story or legend you've heard about in PA? For example, there is a legend about an intern at EY using their hands to ladle soup at a client while the CFO was standing next to them

Hi all! My holiday party is this weekend, the dress code is “casual holiday attire”. What would you wear?? I can’t decide!
Help!!! Struggling to complete my degree. I’ve been in a teaching role at my school since the beginning of the year. I’m at nearly 90 credits of college course work complete. I’m in Texas and there aren’t many options that can get me closer to certification. Any help or advice? I don’t want to lose the role I’m in. It’s literally what I’ve been groomed to do for the past two years. (& yes I’ve been in school during that time.)
Though there are many HMBradley posts, a search has not helped me answer the following two questions: 1. I'm ready to take the plunge; would someone like to give me a referral link? 2. Trying to understand how to maintain a 20% savings rate if I need to actually use the funds at some point. I understand I need to make some direct deposits before June, and as long as I don't withdraw, I'll qualify for 3% starting in July. It seems that I should also transfer the money I want to save (cont)
Need advice: in FSI, risk & reg strategy. Which project should I go for: 3-month DD Type (haven’t done one before), or 6+ month documenting a bank’s strategy (have done before)? (See more in comments)

Is an MBA going to be relevant 5/10/15 years down the line post-COVID — considering how we have all evolved the way in which we source candidates/talent? Fielding for opinions here, because I’m curious! What do you think will replace it? How do you think schools will evolve? We all love M7/T15-20, but will it hold the same amount of prestige and/or power as it does today?
Hi ladies! I would love your advice! I got engaged this weekend and have been receiving a lot of questions regarding the date, venue, etc. I want to take a few weeks to enjoy the engagement glow and be present with my fiancé, but I am concerned because my future mother in law is already very involved (her daughter was married 2 years ago & she planned the entire wedding). I want her input, but I also want to honor my mom because she wants to help too. What tasks did you assign your MIL to help?
Anyone here saved up for a while for a super car like a Lambo? Curious how long it took / what did you have in savings prior before feeling comfortable? Currently save about 80% of my salary and it seems I could afford one around 45 while being on track for early retirement
