Happy wednesday indeed. Rather it was Friday. I don't know of any personally but I'll see if I know anyone who's looking. What's your YOE?

Happy Wednesday, DM me

Happy Wednesday. I will ask around and see if I know anyone hiring. Have you checked on LInkedin? I always seem to have good luck there.

Happy Wednesday to you, too, OP! We're officially halfway through the week. A quick search revealed a few dozen HR positions available in NYC. If you're open to remote work, that widens your scope immensely. LinkedIn and Indeed are always great places to start - I found more than a few positions on there in a short period.

Happy Wednesday! I wish you all the best in your search.

Hi TCSers,

Will we have any project specific interview or client interview before joining TCS?

Will it more like a round to reject further?

Do you have advice on how to interview better with Amazon?

My résumé and portfolio are great, and I’ve been asked to interview with Amazon for 4 different teams now. However, it seems like I’m not making it past the first 1:1 interview. 3 out of 4 have resulted in not the right fit for reasons unknown; they don’t provide any feedback either. I have been invited for a new interview today with another team, and I am hoping 4th time is the charm. Any tips on how to do better next time?

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

Hello, in anyone able to provide a referral for Meta?

HR in the small business I work for seems to mean "administrative asisstant to every department".... does anyone else feel this way? How do I change this? Especially when the leadership themselves treat HR like their assistant.

I'm in serious need of a mid-level HRBP to work for me at Deloitte! Can be located most anywhere in the US or CA as we are primarily remote. PM me for more details!

Does anyone have the 2020 SHRM books for sale or to borrow? My job won’t contribute towards my certification. I’ve already paid for my test. I have the books from 2015 but I’d like to study from the 2020. I tried finding them online to purchase but sellers of affordable books aren’t responding.

Seeking guidance. We had an employee reach out asking us to address tragedies happening in the world. Looking for advice, thoughts, guidance on when and how to voice support or guidance on things that happen outside the workplace. The list of things to address in the world feels so long. What do you do at your company?

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - lauren

Looking for a new HR opportunity in the Madison, WI area, or remote work. Any leads out there? 19 years experience, SHRM-SCP certified. Tons of employee relations, talent development, benefits, payroll, experience! Still growing in comp administration, and enjoying aligning people strategies to organizational goals and objectives.

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance.
I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members.
Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Hello! I’m looking for study materials for the PHR. Does anyone have recommendations for cost effective resources or perhaps willing to part with your study materials?

Is anyone implementing a new system for housing electronic employee files? Due to the pandemic we are virtual for the most part and are exploring this concept. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

What do you think is a realistic salary for a HR Manager with 12 years experience in small companies (80-200 employees), MBA, SHRM-SCP in Hampton Roads VA area?

Hi everyone! I'm currently looking for a new job. I have 5.5 years of HR experience in per-employment tasks such as background checks. I also have experience in high volume of HRIS data management activities, on-boarding, offboarding, administering timecards, program management, and employees leave of absence. What should a fair salary expectation be for me? I am located in the Bay Area.

Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.

How has COVID-19 impacted your company and your benefits? (Examples: layoffs, furloughs, terminations, no more 401K matching, no promotions, hiring freeze?) Please share :)

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I am an experienced HR consultant who has been working at VP/HRD level as a contractor in global roles in the UK and Asia. I am now living in the US and I don't see that many contract roles at senior level. Does anyone know about recruitment agencies that I could work with?
