Do you get any training when promoted to senior associate/reviewer? I received my salary adjustment last Thursday. Friday, I was cc'd on an email to an associate that I am supposed to start reviewing her Q4 work. I barely know how to prep Q4 calcs myself and now they want me to start reviewing? Been with the firm 1.5 yrs. No prior discussion with my manager about this. Got more emails today about reviewing more work starting next week.

What do you think that the education system needs to do, to get young people to be better prepared with challenges in life? For example, I grew up in Malaysia, national secondary schools had home science lessons, where we learnt from ironing to cooking to carpentry to sewing to plumbing to soldering on a circuit board where we did individually or in teams.
