What's the best way to ask for retention hike to your manager?

I have 14 lpa CTC and have got 22 lpa CTC offer from another company. All is good at my current company expect the CTC part, and i would like to stay here if my company provides with a retention hike. What should be the best way to put this up with my manager?

While we are all happy taking multiple offers and joining the company that gives highest pay. Quality of work type of project product vs project etc. have taken back seat. Even the recruiters don't give a complete picture. A guy who might be doing development in Java may landup in a project that has only devops requirements. When asked about this they say go through udemy courses. Please be aware as these practices are very prevalant and might hurt your future prospects.
