COO sounds like a very different role than Project Manager. Those two things are not typically combined into one role.

Yes - could be a OfferingPortfolio COO role or for one of the hybrid businesses being built : launched .

Like a market offering COO?

I have no clue. That was all they said. It was a recruiter from GPS if that helps.

Ask them what internal role that equates to. Sounds like a M to me.

Here I've two options, please suggest which one to go for- YEO:2+ O1: Cognizant (Current Company): Offering 7.8Lpa fixed + 20k Variable to retain. (No complaint against my current project, team and technology... Though work pressure is there but I am comfortable since I've been working in this project since its initial days) O2: EY GDS: Offering 9Lpa fixed + 5% Variable (Learning curve may be higher) Should I leave my current company or should I stay?

What are some signs that it’s time to move on to a new job/ career path? I’m not looking at promotion for realistically another 2 years, same timing for pay raise. On a long term project so I’m locked in for another 2 years at least doing the same thing so not learning nearly like I was when first joining consulting. I’m starting to lose sight of my overall goals and what’s the point of doing all this. Please help!

I have 8 yoe as a BA. It's been 2 months since I joined a Big4 as a Scrum master. I was asked to shadow the project manager but the person is just not helpful. I am not looped/forwarded any emails, no client introduction has been done, no tasks, no one contacts me all day long except for the one call in a day where I am the silent spectator. Am I in trouble?

Starting a new job on January 3. Want to leave on good terms in case I want to boomerang down the road. Is it a bad move to put in my 2 weeks on December 17, right before my whole project team disconnects? Or should I at least give them a heads up before I put in 2 weeks? Do I need to tell my practice leaders/PPMDs in advance? I’m a SC fyi. Thanks fam! First time doing this.
