Talked to a family member currently studying audiology - he said he is not aware of any treatment for it, although it may indicate a deeper underlying problem. He recommends going to an audiologist as they can likely diagnose the root cause and ways to mitigate the pain/annoyance. GL OP

Dude that sucks, have you gone to an ENT?

Yes, two ENT doctors, neurologist and physical therapist. Got that after a flight. It’s been for 3 months now😣

I’ve been dealing with normal tinnitus (ringing) for the past few months. Sorry to say there’s no quick cure. There are some things I can suggest as I have been taking these things for about two months now and, while I’m still aware of my tinnitus, it’s become more of a slight annoyance and less debilitating. 1. Gingko Biloba Supplements. Again, won’t cure anything but there are some studies that suggest it’s effective. 2. Blood pressure medication. I think this is the biggest thing for me as tinnitus is known to be tied to blood pressure. The ringing is almost non existent in the mornings but by the afternoons when my blood pressure has risen some it does increase in annoyance. 3. Zoloft - OCD/Depression medication 4. Exercise

What other symptoms are you experiencing

No other symptoms, just this pulsing sound similar to my heartbeat. I got MRI done as well and everything is clear there

Also get checked for sinus or ear infections. Apparently there can be a linkage but if you let it go to long the odds of it going away decrease

I’m sure if I had sinus or ear infection, those ENT doctors that I went to, would tell me this:)
